L-TOFA s’engage pour une sant\u00e9 et un bien-\u00eatre pour tous : Retour sur l’atelier pr\u00e9paratoire \u00e0 la CPD58<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le 1er avril 2025, l’Association Live Together As Family (L-TOFA) a eu l’honneur de participer \u00e0 un atelier strat\u00e9gique organis\u00e9 \u00e0 Bujumbura par l’UNFPA Burundi, en collaboration avec le Minist\u00e8re des Affaires \u00c9trang\u00e8res et de la Coop\u00e9ration au D\u00e9veloppement. Cet atelier visait \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer la contribution du Burundi \u00e0 la 58e session de la Commission sur la Population et le D\u00e9veloppement (CPD58), qui s’est tenue du 7 au 11 avril 2025 au si\u00e8ge des Nations Unies \u00e0 New York.<\/p>\n

Un th\u00e8me porteur d’espoir<\/strong><\/p>\n

Plac\u00e9e sous le th\u00e8me \u00ab Assurer une vie saine et promouvoir le bien-\u00eatre de tous, \u00e0 tout \u00e2ge \u00bb, la CPD58 a offert une plateforme aux \u00c9tats membres pour partager leurs avanc\u00e9es et d\u00e9fis en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 publique. L’atelier pr\u00e9paratoire a permis de faire le point sur les progr\u00e8s r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par le Burundi, d’identifier les obstacles persistants et de d\u00e9finir de nouveaux engagements align\u00e9s sur les priorit\u00e9s nationales.<\/p>\n

Des interventions marquantes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lors de cet atelier, l’Ambassadeur Gaudence Sindayigaya, Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral des Relations Multilat\u00e9rales au Minist\u00e8re des Affaires \u00c9trang\u00e8res, a affirm\u00e9 : \u00ab Le Gouvernement du Burundi ne m\u00e9nage aucun effort pour am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9 et le bien-\u00eatre de la population burundaise. \u00bb De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, le Dr Kacou Pierre Konan, Coordinateur de programme \u00e0 l’UNFPA Burundi, a soulign\u00e9 l’importance d’un acc\u00e8s accru aux soins maternels, d’une meilleure disponibilit\u00e9 des m\u00e9thodes contraceptives et d’une int\u00e9gration renforc\u00e9e des soins de sant\u00e9 sexuelle et reproductive dans les programmes nationaux.<\/p>\n

L’engagement de L-TOFA<\/strong><\/p>\n

En tant qu’acteur de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile, L-TOFA a apport\u00e9 sa voix \u00e0 cette initiative, r\u00e9affirmant son engagement en faveur d’un Burundi o\u00f9 chaque individu, quel que soit son \u00e2ge, peut vivre en bonne sant\u00e9 et dans la dignit\u00e9. Notre association continue de plaider pour des politiques inclusives et \u00e9quitables, en mettant l’accent sur la sant\u00e9 communautaire, l’\u00e9ducation sanitaire et l’autonomisation des groupes vuln\u00e9rables.<\/p>\n
